ACER Now Selling Radeon RX 7700/7800 XT Predator & Nitro GPUs In The US

Some may argue that Acer has recently introduced its Radeon GPUs, but this isn’t entirely true. Acer actually debuted the Radeon RX 7600 non-XT some time ago, marking its entry into the DIY market with Radeon GPUs. Over the months, Acer enthusiasts may have questioned if this was the end of the company’s presence in the competitive GPU market. Fortunately, that wasn’t the case.

Earlier this year, Acer unveiled multiple updates to their Radeon GPU lineup. Alongside the launch of the Navi 32-based Radeon RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT, albeit slightly later than other companies, Acer also introduced enhancements for the Radeon RX 7900 GRE and RX 7600 XT. These offerings hit the global market in January.

Fortunately, there was no prolonged delay in these cards becoming available in the retail channel this time. Newegg currently has all of these cards listed for sale, although some are still out of stock.

The RX 7900 GRE and 7800 XT models are currently being sold at a slight premium above the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP), which is less than ideal for a newcomer in the GPU market. Nonetheless, Acer has demonstrated a strong commitment to offering price reductions for its Intel Arc models. It’s highly likely that lower prices will be available soon.

ACER RADEON RX 7000 LAUNCH

The Predator Bifrost models stand out for their intriguing design, featuring a thick 3-slot build and large triple-fan coolers. Such a design would typically be associated with high-end models like the 7900 XT/XTX, yet it’s currently offered for the 7900 GRE and RX 7800 XT series, which are approximately 260W GPUs. These cards are expected to offer excellent cooling performance, barring any issues with the cooler. Unfortunately, despite most of the cards being available, there are no reviews to be found. Acer seems to be less willing to provide Radeon GPU samples compared to their approach with Arc.
