Acer Predator Z57
Acer has revealed a remarkable lineup of monitors during CES 2024. The flagship model, Predator Z57, presents a massive 57-inch screen with Dual UHD resolution (7,680 x 2,160 pixels) and a 120Hz refresh rate. With its distinctive 32:9 aspect ratio, it provides gamers with an immersive experience, sharing the same size and resolution as the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 Dual 4K monitor.
Built on a mini-LED display with 2,304 individually controlled zones, the Z57 guarantees a peak brightness of 1,000 cd/m² and holds DisplayHDR 1000 certification. Its curved panel, featuring a 1,000R radius, heightens immersion, and the addition of HDMI 2.1 inputs enables connectivity with gaming consoles such as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. Notably, there’s no mention of DisplayPort 2.0/2.1 support. The Predator Z57, priced at $2,500, is scheduled for launch in North America and Europe in the second quarter of the year.
Acer Predator X34 V
Adding to Acer’s impressive lineup is the Predator X34 V3, a 34-inch MiniLED model featuring a 21:9 ultrawide QHD resolution (3,440 x 1,440) and an impressive 180Hz refresh rate. The curved panel, with a 1,500R radius, covers 94 percent of the DCI-P3 color space. With AMD FreeSync Premium, it ensures smooth gaming experiences, and it holds DisplayHDR 1000 certification. Equipped with two HDMI 2.0 and one DisplayPort 1.4 connectors, the Predator X34 V3 is priced at $900 and is slated for release in the second quarter of 2024.
Acer Predator X39 and Predator X34 X
For enthusiasts of OLED technology, Acer introduces the Predator X39 and Predator X34 X, both featuring an 800R curve for a distinct visual experience. Boasting a resolution of 3440 x 1440 and an impressive 240Hz refresh rate, these monitors deliver high-performance gaming. Despite a peak brightness of 450 nits, the vibrant OLED display ensures an exceptional visual experience. Officially rated as VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 compatible, the Predator X39 is priced at $1,500, and the X34 X at $1,300, with both set to launch in North America in the second quarter of 2024.
