ADATA SE800 Overview
The ADATA SE800 has the same design and form factor that we saw on their SE730H. This time instead of being gold the chassis of the drive is either blue or black, we received the blue version.
As far as size goes the SE800 has official dimensions of 72.7 x 44 x 12.2 mm / 2.8 x 1.7 x 0.4 inch which means it is definitely pocketable and can easily be thrown in a backpack or laptop bag. The main part of the drive is made of metal, which means it will be able to take a beating. The top of the drive says “ADATA” and “SSD” on it, while the bottom of the drive is pretty plain.
The drive is capped off on each side, but one of these caps can be removed to reveal a USB 3.2 gen 2 Type-C connection and small activity LED. With this cap closed the drive offers IP68 dust and waterproof protection. The drive also also meets the MIL-STD-810G 516.6 impact resistance standard.
