ADATA XPG SX6000 Pro Overview
The XPG SX6000 Pro is in the M.2 2280 form factor so it is 80 mm long and 22 mm wide. Like most M.2 drives these days it makes use of the PCI-Express 3.0 x4 interface.
On the main side of the drive you’ll find your controller and four flash chips. Since this is a DRAM-less drive a DDR3 cache chip is not present. The flash chips are marked as ADATA, but they are made my Micron and are 64-layer 3D TLC NAND.
As we mentioned the drive makes use of the Realtek RTS5763DL 4-channel controller. This controller supports Host Memory Buffer (HMB), which will use a small portion of your computer’s memory for its mapping tables.
Flipping the drive over to the back all we have is a sticker. Since the drive is single-sided it is compatible with ultra-thin laptops that do not support double-sided drives.
