ADATA’s New SSD Pumps Out 6GB/s Read, 3.8GB/s Write!

ADATA has just revealed their latest solid state drive, which is the SR2000CP. This drive sits as an enterprise-class solid state drive that has some pretty insane speeds, all of which comes out of a single PCI-Express 3.0 x8 slot.

ADATA has tested the 4TB version of the drive, they recorded sequential read speeds of 6GB/s and write speeds of 3.8 GB/s. Besides the 4TB version the drive will be available in 2TB, 3.5TB, 8TB, and even 11TB capacities. These all will feature 3D “eTLC” NAND that has 3 bits per cell, and endurance cycles that are similar to MLC NAND flash.

ADATA also will be providing enterprise-friendly features like user-configurable over-provisioning, power loss protection that keeps your data safe, native 256-bit AES encryption, and 55C ambient temperature operation. No word yet on pricing or availability.
