All Licensed Xbox One Accessories Will Be Compatible With Xbox Series X

Microsoft is trying its best to provide backward software compatibility for Xbox One X, but will Xbox One accessories work with the Xbox Series X? We can now expect Xbox One accessories to work with the upcoming Series X as Microsoft has revealed it’s new “Designed for Xbox” label and promises that most officially-licensed Xbox One accessories will be compatible with the next-gen console.

Any official Xbox one accessory that connects wirelessly or through a USB will be compatible with Xbox Series X. Any Headset that uses a 3.5mm port to connect will also be supported.

Headsets using an optical cable may require a software update to work with the Xbox Series X. Soundbars and headsets that may not receive an upgrade will use your television optical port to connect.
