AMD “Picasso” APU Surfaces Online

It seems as if AMD is currently testing their third APU for the AM4 socket as it has appeared on the UserBenchmark database. This APU is codenamed “Picasso” and we first heard of it all the way back in September of 2017 when it was described as an APU for 2019. The integrated graphics core of “Picasso” is now on the UserBenchmark database under the device ID “15D8.” Sadly there is no benchmark associated with this chip.

In previous leaked slides “Picasso” was described as being a slightly improved variant of “Raven Ridge” with improvements out of the box and performance / watt. This could just be “Raven Ridge” fabricated on the 12 nm node with tweaks to the on-die software.
