AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT Will Feature 12GB GDDR6 Memory

It’s just a matter of time before NVIDIA and AMD start flooding the market with new SKUs. Till now, NVIDIA has a lead as it has released a total of 5 cards from its RTX 30 series, but it looks like AMD will catch up as there is sufficient evidence to conclude that AMD will soon release the Radeon RX 6700 XT.

Radeon RDNA 2 Graphics Card

AMD’s second-generation Radeon DNA (RDNA 2) was announced with three SKUs: Radeon RX 6900 XT, Radeon RX 6800 XT, and Radeon RX 6800. All cards featured 16 GB GDDR 6 RAM. Rumors suggest that AMD will launch Radeon RX 6700 XT with 12GB GDDR6 RAM to compete with GeForce RTX 3070 (8GB GDDR6) in the mid-range segment.

hardwareLUXX’s Andreas Schilling has also posted a picture of what supposedly will be the official logo for the upcoming SKU.

Schilling also states that the RX 6700 XT will feature 12GB GDDR6 RAM and will target 1080p gaming. He also stated that the card will be released soon but gave no information on pricing.

According to newly leaked info, it will operate on AMD’s Navi 22 GPU, and the GPU will house 40 compute units and 2,560 stream processors at a clock speed range of 2.35GHz to 2.5GHz.
