AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX Is Now Available For Less Than $882

After much anticipation, the price reduction for the RX 7900 XTX has finally arrived. Amazon is currently offering coupons of $98 and $100 for two customized models by XFX and Sapphire. As a result, the price of these cards is now below $900, specifically at $881.99 for the XFX Merc 310 and $889.99 for the Sapphire model. This marks a significant discount of up to $118 below the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP), bringing the price cuts on par with those seen for the RX 7900 XT.

The introduction of custom Radeon RX 7900 series at $880/$720 is expected to exert significant pressure on the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti/4070 series, which are currently priced at $800/$600 respectively. The AMD RX 7900 XTX offers double the memory capacity and comparable or even superior gaming performance compared to the RTX 4080. Consequently, despite the $80 price difference, the AMD GPU appears to be a more worthwhile investment than NVIDIA’s AD104 GPU at this stage.

HardwareUnboxed recently shared an update on GPU retail prices at Newegg, providing a chart that is merely a day old. The chart reveals that Radeon pricing is considerably lower compared to other options.

At the moment, Amazon stands alone as the retailer offering such an exceptional deal on the Radeon RX 7900 series. However, the future remains uncertain, and other retailers may introduce competitive offers. It’s also important to note that AMD is gearing up for the launch of its Radeon RX 7800 XT GPU, which is likely to happen in the next quarter.

XFX Radeon RX 7900 XTX 24GB MERC 310 – $881.99
Sapphire Radeon RX 7900 XTX 24GB PULSE – $899.99
