1 out of the 500 limited Starfield AMD Ryzen & Radeon bundles is currently up for auction on eBay. Although AMD intended to distribute numerous bundles to gamers and Gamescom attendees, only a handful of individuals have acknowledged their victory. AMD had readied a maximum of 500 of these packages, which included the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, their flagship gaming processor, coupled with a customized Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics card.
While the CPU saw minimal changes, mostly limited to its packaging due to limited modifications possible on the CPU itself, the graphics card tells a distinct tale. This graphics card experienced a comprehensive overhaul, featuring a color palette that mirrors the Starfield spaceships, complete with custom vinyls and an added backplate that further enhances its distinctiveness.
While the idea of such a GPU isn’t entirely novel, considering we’ve witnessed numerous ASUS Gundam editions with comparable color schemes, graphics card manufacturers don’t typically opt for Radeon GPUs when introducing specialized products of this kind. As a result, AMD assumed the responsibility of unveiling this particular model, albeit in extremely limited quantities.
The seller does provide additional collectibles, the majority of which aren’t intended for charitable purposes. Regrettably, eBay no longer exhibits the exact portion of the buying price that will be contributed to the charity. Nevertheless, the vendor has asserted that the complete proceeds will be allocated to Mental Drive Inc. However, we cannot independently verify this assertion. At the moment of writing this, the card was listed at $3650, triple the cost of a standard reference RX 7900 XTX variant.
