AMD Ryzen 7 4700G Renoir APU shown playing Doom Eternal at 1080p by itself

AMD has done some good work with its new generation of chips. We have seen a great deal of improvement in its Ryzen APUs with regards to graphics performance. A new video now shows Doom Eternal running solely on the AMD Ryzen 7 4700G’s GPU. Read on!

The video comes courtesy of Tech Epiphany on YouTube who benchmarked the chip using Doom Eternal. Check it out:

As you can see, the Ryzen 7 4700G can handle the game on its own just fine. The Vega 8 iGPU is powerful enough to run the title by itself. The game is shown running at 1080p with most settings at High. The game hovered between 42-47 FPS for the most part.

With some settings tweaked down, the game is able to hit acceptable 60 FPS performance. Needless to say, the Vega 8 iGPU shows some promising results and a bright future for iGPUs.
