At the Asia ROG event, ASUS announced its all-new ROG Swift PG329Q monitor. This monitor has a “Fast IPS” panel along with a 175 Hz refresh rate and a 2560 X 1440 or 2k resolution. It also has a 31.5 inches screen thus has a place in the “Super Kill” marketing line.
ROG Swift PG329Q is a perfect choice for gamers and is also suitable to use as a primary monitor. It offers a 2560 X 1440 resolution and is expected to have AMD and NVIDIA’s support software that removes screen tear due to variable refresh rates and allows the monitor to perform at its best.
The feature of DisplayHDR 600, along with HDR 600 certification, allows it to have a maximum brightness of 600cd/m². It is achieved through some backlight local dimming. In addition to the 10-bit color support, it also has DCI-P3 color gamut, and 98% is the said coverage.
Its 1 microsecond response time that is rated to be GTG or Grey to Gray with 175hz and 2560 X 1440 resolution makes it a dream monitor. The refresh rates can be synced with ASUS; ‘s ELMB-sync technology that enables motion blur reduction backlight.
As far as the aesthetics are concerned, it has a pretty unique back with a ROG RGB logo on the left-hand corner. The RGB lighting can be tuned with ASUS’s RGB lighting software known as Aura Sync. The back also has a distinctive design when compared to other gaming monitors.
