AMD has just announced the pricing for their upcoming Ryzen 7000X3D “Zen4” processors. These processors of course take advantage of 3D Vertical Cache (3DV cache) technology, which gives them a pretty nice boost in gaming performance specifically. This boost in performance should make them quite competitive against Intel’s 13th Gen Core “Raptor Lake” processors. AMD’s Ryzen 9 7950X3D and Ryzen 9 7900X3D will hit the retail channel on February 28th, while the Ryzen 7 7800X3D will be available starting on April 6th.
When it comes to pricing the top dog 16-core, 32-thread Ryzen 9 7950X3D will be $699. Next is the 12-core, 24-thread Ryzen 9 7900X3D which will be $599, giving it a $50 premium over the launch price of the Ryzen 9 7900X. Finally the 8-core, 16-thread Ryzen 7 7800X3D will be $449, which again is a $50 premium over what the Ryzen 7 7700X launched at.
