AMD’s Ryzen 7000X3D processors, which feature 3D V-Cache are set to launch next week. Well for those who may not want to wait till next week official gaming benchmark results from AMD have been leaked to the web. These appear to come from the official reviewers guide that AMD has sent out to reviewers.
In AMD’s testing they of course put the Ryzen 9 7950X3D up against Intel’s Core i9-13900K. Both systems they used were identical with 32GB of DDR5-6000 memory and liquid cooling. Tests were also done with AMD’s own Radeon RX 7900 XTX and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090. We have all of the data from the tests below, but overall the Ryzen 9 7950X3D is about 5.6% better than the Core i9-13900K at 1080p when using the Radeon RX 7900 XTX and 6% better when using the GeForce RTX 4090.
These tests were done across 22 games with Horizon Zero Dawn and F1 2021 being the games that favored AMD, while Far Cry 6 and the CPU test in Ashes of the Singularity favorited Intel.
For those wondering below are the full system specifications AMD used in their test system.
