The Antec High Current Series of power supplies is available in a multitude of wattages including 400W, 520W, 620W, 750W and 900W; today we’re looking at the 750W. All models are 80PLUS Bronze Certified with the highest two models also being SLI Certified. All models also follow the same black and red color scheme to give it that fiery look.
The HCG-750W and HCG-900W have the same design, while the lower wattage models have an alternative design. On the higher two models you’ll find the 135mm fan surrounded by red plastic with the wattage labeled on both sides underneath the red plastic.
On the back of the power supply is a large grated cover along with the power connection and power switch. The bottom of the HCG-750W is plain, with exception to the product information stickers on it.
Since this isn’t a modular power supply all of the cables are connected to the power supply. The HCG-750 has the following connections: 1 x 20+4 Pin, 4 x 6+2 PCI-E, 9 x SATA, 6 x Molex, 1 x Floppy, and 1 x 4+4 Pin ATX/EPS. All of the cables are wrapped in a heavy duty, black plastic sleeve.
