Patriot Supersonic 32GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Review

USB 3.0 has really been catching on.  Every new motherboard coming out has USB 3.0 connectivity and almost all the new cases have front-mounted USB 3.0 ports.  USB 3.0 is 10 times faster than USB 2.0, but the only devices that can truly take advantage of this speed is solid state drives and flash drives.  Today we will be looking at a 32GB USB flash drive from Patriot dubbed, “Supersonic”.  Let’s check it out!

Special thanks to Patriot for providing us with the Supersonic 32GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive to review.

USB 3.0 compliant
Quad-Channel technology for fast read/write performance
Up to 100MB/s read*
Up to 70MB/s write*

The Supersonic comes in a nice sealed retail package.  On the front there is some information on the drive like the read and write speeds, which are 100MB/s and 70MB/s respectively.  On the back there is even more information about the drive.

About 10 years of computer experience. Been messing around with electronics since I was 5, got into computers when I was in highschool, been modding them ever since then. Very interested in how things work and their design.
