Antec Mobile Products Lifecard Portable Battery Charger Review

Final Thoughts
Portable battery chargers are such a necessity these days with all the mobile devices we are running around with. I have a lot of portable chargers, probably 7, but many of them are large and a pain to take with me for say a night out. Being a guy when I go out I’ll wear a pair of jeans and a shirt. Already carrying a smartphone, wallet, and keys that does not leave a whole lot of room left for a charger. That is where the Lifecard comes in, I can easily fit it in my pocket or wallet and it is not bulky at all. On top of just its size you do have the ability to carry cash or cards with it using the included silicone bands.

Now it is not a complete all-in-one solution because you still need to carry the charging cable for your mobile device with you, that is the only caveat really.

As far as charging goes the Lifecard carries with it a 2000mAh battery so that is enough to completely charge an iPhone 5s or iPhone 6 completely from 0-100% and still have some juice left. A completely charge of an iPhone 5s took about 2 hours. The indication LEDs on the device let you know much battery is left.

If you are looking for a smaller portable battery charger the Lifecard is a great choice. It is actually the smallest portable charger that I have reviewed and it is perfect for guys who don’t want some bulky battery pack in their pocket. Right now it is selling at my favorite online retailer for $24.99. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Antec Mobile Products Lifecard Portable Battery Charger a 9 out of 10 score.
