Last year we took a look at Kingston’s original HyperX Cloud Gaming headset, and there really was not much not to like about it. Now on its second iteration, we are quite excited to see what Kingston has done to make this headset even better. The biggest change is the addition of 7.1 virtual surround sound via a USB controller with DSP sound card. Do not worry, though. You still have the ability to use the Cloud II with a 3.5 mm plug if you wish. You can check the other popular gaming headsets reviews from rslonline. Kingston has pretty much retained the same design with the Cloud II as we saw on the original headset. The HyperX Cloud II gaming headset comes in a very attractive retail box. On the front there is a picture of the headset and a list of some of the main features.
On the back there is an overview of the headset with many of its features labeled.
Opening up the box you will find a red HyperX box inside.
Opening this box up you will find a little note on the inside from the HyperX general manager welcoming you to the HyperX team. This packaging of the Cloud II definitely makes it feel like a premium product. Inside you will find the headset and all of its accessories nicely packaged.
Getting everything out of the box you have the HyperX Cloud II headset, and extra set of velour earcups, plug-in microphone, USB control box / sound card, airplane adapter, carrying case and information guide.
