Antec Truepower New 750W Power Supply Review

Final thoughts
The Antec Truepower New 750W is a solid unit. There are other flavors in the Truepower New series: 550W, 650W, and a 750W version with a blue LED in the fan. I recommend the series for a medium to high level build.

It’s actually manufactured by Seasonic for Antec, as jonnyGURU determined. The load tests also show this unit to be quite the trooper!

I wish that Antec had decided to go all modular, or no modular. The hybrid design doesn’t make much sense when I really only need two hybrid cables and I don’t use half of the built-in cables.

It can be had online nowadays for under $130.

ThinkComputers gives the Antec Truepower New 750W power supply a 9 out of 10 score and an our Editor’s Choice Award.

  • Pros
    • Price vs. wattage vs. performance is fantastic
    • 80PLUS Bronze certified for 82% efficiency
    • Fantastic stability
  • Cons
    • Partial modularity is nearly pointless when 50% of the modular is used and 50% of the built-in is used
