ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3090 pictured

NVIDIA is very close to officially unveiling its next generation of GPUs. The RTX 3000 series is set to be released tomorrow, September 1, in a virtual event. We have had several leaks of vendor-specific models of these cards, and the latest one comes from ASUS.

ASUS makes some of the most popular versions of NVIDIA’s GPUs, and their next-gen flagship has now been pictured. We had previously reported about a leaked slide showing the card, which was rumored to be called the RTX 3080 Ti back then. You can see the ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3090 in all of its glory, In a leak posted by Videocardz. Take a look:

The card carries the next-generation ROG Strix design, which looks cooler than ever. On the cooling side, we have a generously sized aluminium heatsink with three Axial-Tech fans. The card is 3 slots thick, and taller than full-size cards.

Videocardz notes ASUS could be using the same design for both RTX 3090 and RTX 3080 cards. This isn’t far fetched since the cards share the Ampere GA102 GPU at their cores.
