BitFenix is introducing a brand new Micro-ATX case in AEGIS. This case was first shown at Computex and now it is here! The case will actually be available in 5 different colors, black, white, blue, yellow and red. While not only looking great this case packs in a ton of different features.
AEGIS features a beautiful rounded shield-inspired front with the same ICON logo display featured on Pandora, and a sporty fresh design all around. It comes in black, white and 3 vibrant colors (red, blue, yellow) and supports an impressive amount of fans and radiators: up to 8 120mm fans or 5 140mm fans, dual 280 radiators and even a dual 360 build is possible with slim rads.
The 3 tool free storage cages are modular and can be moved around or taken out all together, in which case there is still a hidden 2.5″ slot behind the PSU and a “show off” 2.5″ slot next to the mainboard tray. Besides some nice dust filters on the top, front and bottom, it comes with a built in fan controller, a stylish PSU cover, a rubber padded pump bracket and last but not least a neat Reservoir bracket, that let users attach a reservoir or pump/res combo to a 240 or 360 radiator.
BitFenix ICON Display
Hidden behind the smooth closed front panel and invisible when powered off, sits our Bitfenix ICON™ 2.8″ Logo Display. It connects directly to your motherboard via an internal USB header and lets you drag and drop any color image onto the display to customize your build. We published the entire sourcecode, opening the door for developers and tinkerers to create animated and interactive ICON apps.
With up to eight 120mm fans or five 140mm fans for an ultra silent or extreme airflow build, and support for up to two slim 360mm radiators, a thick 360+280 or dual 280mm combo for a dual AIO or custom loop build, AEGIS is ready to outperform and outgun much larger cases.
AEGIS comes with quality micro weave dust filters with a solid frame, that can be removed and cleaned quickly and easily. The top dust filter can be clipped on and off within a second, and the front and bottom magnetic dust filters cover all intake fan locations including the PSU, giving dust bunnies no chance to be settle in this case.
Keep your loop running without a refill for months on end, and give your build that extra bling. To enable fully fledged custom loop builds with a nice tube res we bundle a 240mm reservoir bracket that can be attached to either the case, or directly to a 240mm or 360mm radiator. Alternatively, the reservoir bracket can be used to install pump/res combos, such as the EKWB Xres, simplfying your loop notably.
With support for up to two 360mm radiators and 5 slots for dual VGA configs we know you dont want to skimp on the pump. Thats why AEGIS comes with its very own pump bracket, covered with a thick rubber pad, and featuring plenty of mounting holes. There are several locations on the bottom of the case that make it that much easier to get your custom loop up and running.
