CES 2012: Moneual

Moneual’s Sonambu PC power saving PC was introduced a couple of years ago at CES to great fanfare, as the computer’s power system had essentially a built-in power strip. When the computer was off, power to all peripherals was cut, thereby preventing wasted electricity. For CES 2012, Moneual upgraded the line with a additional SATA ports, an 80PLUS-certified power supply, and new form-factors with eco-friendly cases made with recycled material. Also, Moneual highlighted a modularized All-in-One PC which isolates various components in order to maximize upgradeability. Last, Moneual showed its concept Home Cloud Server. The Home Cloud Server is built onto an air purifier — one of Moneual’s primary home appliance products — and offers all the features expected in a NAS and more in order to offer a connected home experience. Colin Dean speaks with Lico from Moneual in this video interview.
