Colorful isn’t typically associated with the AMD brand, known more for being a prominent supplier of GeForce graphics cards in China. While their iGame GPUs are well-known, surprisingly a new system boasting (almost) all-AMD hardware has been announced.
The latest version is now available in addition to the Core 12900H/12700H/12500H & RTX 3060-based model. Featuring a Ryzen 9 6900HX and Radeon RX 6850M XT graphics, these specs are typically associated with high-end gaming laptops utilizing AMD hardware. Notably, the 8-core Zen3+ processor belongs to the HX variant, indicating a TDP higher than 45W, although Colorful has not provided complete specifications.
The graphics utilize the Navi 22 GPU with 2560 Stream Processors. Gamers will enjoy 12 GB of GDDR6 memory on a 192-bit memory bus. Technically, performance is expected to match that of the desktop Radeon RX 6700 XT but within a Total Graphics Power (TGP) limit of 165W, one of the configurations for these mobile graphics. Colorful provides four GPU settings: Quiet at 114W, Balance at 135W, Gaming at 154W, and Beast at the maximum 165W TGP for this Radeon GPU.
Featuring a 27-inch 4K screen at a 60Hz refresh rate, the graphics might not deliver optimal performance. Unlike internet cafés, AIO systems are more commonly seen in corporate settings. This could be an ideal choice for those seeking a discreet gaming setup.
Available in various configurations, the system offers memory options ranging from 16GB to 32GB or even 64GB. Users can choose between 1TB or 2TB storage, with the possibility of upgrades. Notably, the 32GB/1TB configuration is priced similarly to the i7-12700H/RTX3060 setup.Gaming AIOs are now available on the Chinese JD platform, where Colorful exclusively offers them in the Asian market, with no information regarding a global release.
