The details of a couple of Colorful Z490 motherboards have been leaked to the web. The boards are the Colorful iGame Z490 Vulcan X and CVN Z490 Gaming Pro. The iGame Z490 Vulcan X appears to be the premium offering with a 280W-capable 14 phase CPU VRM, three PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots, two M.2 NVMe slots, and a very sleek design with full I/O cover, M.2 heatsinks and of course RGB lighting. When it comes to connectivity you have an ALC1220-based onboard audio solution, 802.11ax WLAN driven by an Intel AX201 board, and 2.5 GbE wired interface driven by an Intel i225-V controller. You can see the full details of the board below.
The more mainstream board is the CVN Z490 Gaming Pro. The board features a 10-phase VRM which is rated up to 125W. The CPU socket is wired to two PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots (x16/x4 electrical) which are metal reinforced. There are three M.2 slots, but only one will have an integrated heatsink. As far as connectivity you have a Realtek ALC892-driven 8-channel HD audio solution, and a single 1 GbE wired networking interface driven by a Realtek RTL8111H controller. There are no RGB elements on the board, but you do get headers.
