Final Thoughts on the Cooler Master Elite Liquid 240
Trailing just behind it’s older sibling, the Elite Liquid 360, the Cooler Master Elite Liquid 240 pretty much lands exactly where I expected it to. The aesthetics are identical, aside from the black vs white colorway difference in our review units, and you can get either size in both options. The Elite Liquid series, as I pointed out in our previous review, doesn’t come out on the top of our performance charts, but still provides enough cooling capacity in standard use situations. The muted aesthetics, though ARGB-illuminated, offer a custom, yet affordable option for customization.
The pre-installed fans are certainly a positive feature, though their proprietary cabling must be manually connected, and the pre-installed thermal paste makes installation that much easier. And while performance is well within the bounds of our test system, it definitely isn’t anything to write home about. This value-priced AIO is available from our favorite online retailer for $64.99, which earns the Cooler Master Elite Liquid 240 a 7 out of 10.
Pros:
- Budget Pricing
- ARGB lighting
- Preinstalled, Daisy Chained Fans
Cons:
- Fans Not Wired at Factory
- Loud Fan Operation
