“Connect All. Hear All.” That is how SteelSeries intros their Arctis Nova Pro Omni headset on their website, and for good reason. You see, the “Omni” part of the name describes the ability to not only connect multiple devices to the included GameHub, but to mix them all together into a single audio stream that is presented to the headset. Set it once, and never have to worry about swapping between inputs if you don’t want – they are all good to go, each with their own controls. And that is just one of the great features found in the Arctis Nova Pro Omni, so let’s continue on and see what else it has in store for us.
Special thanks to SteelSeries for providing the Arctis Nova Pro Omni review sample!
Specifications of the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Omni
Packaging of the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Omni
The Arctis Nova Pro Omni comes packed in a nice box that resembles that of a larger cell phone, and the unboxing experience is very similar. Images of the headset itself, as well as the GameHub are placed front and center on the front of the box, giving you a quick idea of what all you are getting. SteelSeries made sure to include verbiage indicating that you are able to mix up to four audio sources, and that it is compatible with all of the latest gaming consoles (XBOX, Playstation, Switch), as well as PCs and mobile devices.
Multiple images on the back of the box highlight the audio characteristics of the headset, as well as the multiple input options and wireless connectivity found on the GameHub. There is also a bit of information regarding compatibility with software and application-based controls.
Internally the headset is held in place via a shaped paperboard material, while the included accessory items are located in a small cardboard box. Speaking of accessory items, the Arctis Nova Pro Omni is shipped inside of a SteelSeries-branded cloth bag with a drawstring. These are always great for keeping things tidy when bringing headsets along with you.
Additionally, SteelSeries includes a small pop filter for the microphone, two USB Type-A to Type-C cables for use with the GameHub and headset, as well as two 670 mAh Lithium-Ion batteries for the headset.
