I have been a huge fan of Cooler Master’s MasterCase Series of cases since I first reviewed the original MasterCase 5 almost a year ago. With the MasterCase Series Cooler Master really reinvented themselves brought their cases back into the minds of builders and enthusiasts. The MasterCase Series brought with it a sleek and stylish design, the FreeForm modular system, and a case that was very easy to build in. Today we have Cooler Master’s latest entry in the MasterCase Series, the MasterCase Maker 5t. This case features a 2-tone design, dual tempered glass side panels, an included LED strip, a light & fan controller, and much more! This could be the best MasterCase Chassis yet! Read on as we take a look!
Special thanks to Cooler Master for providing us with the MasterCase Maker 5t Case to review.
The MasterCase 5t comes in Cooler Masters high quality packaging. They are one of the only case manufactures to still packaging their high-quality cases in full-color boxes. On the front there are a few shots of the case and it lets us know the FreeForm modular system is in the case.
Flipping over to the back there is an exploded view of the cases showing all of the parts and more information on the case in quite a few different languages.
On the side of the box you’ll find the same specifications table that we have listed above.
Opening the box up we can see that the case is nicely protected by large pieces of Styrofoam, thicker than normal. Taking this out the case itself is wrapped in a thicker plastic as well.
Also inside the box you’ll find a neat Cooler Master tin, cloth to clean the case, and a user’s manual. Opening the tin up inside is all about your mounting hardware, keys for the side panels, zip ties, and a couple cable organizers.
