Final Thoughts on the Cooler Master MasterFrame 360 Panorama Case Review

The Cooler Master MasterFrame 360 Panorama is a very interesting case. Cooler Master definitely had a target audience in mind with this case, people who are into collectables and action figures. While I’ve seen people put collectables and action figures in PC cases and even modded them to fit, this is the first time I’ve seen a case specifically designed for them. So if that is your thing and you want to show off an action figure right in the front of your PC case this is the perfect case for you!

Beyond just being able to display an action figure you have glass on 3 sides of the case, which is something you don’t really see these days. This really does give you a 360-degree view into your system. Cooler Master has also designed a center column to house all of your hardware. This design matched with the modularity of the MasterFrame shell allows for proper cooling since you don’t have a front or side mount cooling. There are also cable covers for the back part of the column so you don’t have a cable mess back there! It is worth noting that your power supply is going to be a bit starved for air though.

While I am a big fan of the center column design, it does present some issues with the case. First the case only supports CPU coolers as tall as 45mm, which really limits this case to low-profile coolers and liquid CPU coolers. This limitation also means you can only mount your graphics card vertically. Cooler Master does include a PCIe riser so you are covered there. If you do have a thicker graphics card it is going to be sitting pretty close to the glass with limited air flow.

Beyond these issues the case is quite easy to work in. I love the idea of the modular cooling brackets on the top and bottom of the case. This means you can install 12 total 120mm fans or even four massive 200mm fans. The side panels can be removed easily and there is quite a lot of room inside to work with so you really shouldn’t run into any issues with your installation.

Right now the MasterFrame 360 Panorama is selling at our favorite online retailer for $269.99. That might be a lot to swallow for a case that does not come with any fans at all, but at the same time if you want to display something like an action figure in the front of your case, this case is the perfect thing. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Cooler Master MasterFrame 360 Panorama case a 7 out of 10 score.
