According to the slides provided by “RUBY’s|RYZEN|RAYDEON RAGE 3D,” the Intel Core i9-13900K surpasses AMD’s new desktop flagship CPU.
The slides appear to have been displayed at the latest Raptor Lake pre-launch event for the tech press and analysts, which is currently happening throughout the globe. It is unknown whether these particular slides are embargoed, but they have not been published previously. This is because the AMD Ryzen 7000 series was not yet available when Intel introduced its Raptor Lake series.
The Intel Core i9-13900K outperforms the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X in gaming by 22%, according to this slide. Both CPUs are the flagships of the new desktop series. Intel processors will surpass AMD Zen4 processors by 11% on average.
Obviously, these are Intel benchmarks with unknown hardware and approach (motherboard/memory). For additional information, the slides link to the Intel website, which has not yet been updated. Intel’s 13th Generation Core Raptor Lake series will be released tomorrow. Stay tuned for additional up-to-date information since the debut will be followed by multiple third-party reviews.
