Corsair iCUE Nexus Review

Corsair iCUE Nexus Overview

The actual iCUE Nexus device is really just the screen. It has a screen protector on it so nothing happens to it during shipping / initial handling. The screen device itself is all black, which will match with the Corsair keyboards it is compatible with, which include the K70, K95 Platinum / RGB Platinum, and K100 RGB. The screen is a small 5-inch diagonal screen which has a 640 x 48 resolution and a refresh rate of 24 FPS.

There is a small braided USB cable coming off the main device. This is meant to plug in to the pass-through USB port on the compatible Corsair keyboards.

Now if you don’t have a compatible keyboard do not worry as you can use the iCUE Nexus as a standalone device with the included base. The included base has a pass-through USB port for the main device and then a very long USB cable so you shouldn’t have any issue connecting it to your PC if you have it sitting on your desk.

The bottom of the base has a large rubber pad on it. This will keep it on your desk and keep it from moving when you interact with the iCUE Nexus.
