Setup & Software
Getting the VOID PRO RGB Wireless headset setup and running is extremely easy. First be sure to charge it up with the included USB charging cable. Then just plug the USB receiver into any open USB port in your system. Windows will automatically install the required drivers. You might have to select the headset as your default audio device within Windows, but after that you are good to go.
Now you could just use the headset like this, but if you want to do any customization you should download the latest version of Corsair’s CUE software. On the main screen of the CUE section for the VOID PRO Wiresless you’ll see the headset showing the color effect you have active. You can select Stereo or Dolby Headphone as well as set he microphone and sidetone volume.
On the lighting effects tab on the side you can select different effects like static color, blink, breathe, beat, rainbow pulse, and rainbow. Within each effect you can set the colors, speed, etc.
When the Corsair on each earcup lights up it looks pretty cool, and the brightness is not overpowering. Here are a few shots.
In the EQ presets there are already 5 presets pre-programmed, which are Pure Direct, Movie Theater, FPS Competition, Clear Chat, and Bass Boost. You can enable or disable these presets and even make your own presets.
