Crucial X10 Pro Portable Solid State Drive Review

Final Thoughts

The new X9 Pro and X10 Pro drives are a nice follow up to the X6 and X8 and bring with them a faster speeds and a better overall design. The X10 Pro is Crucial’s first USB 3.2 gen 2×2 drive and with that you are going to see some of the fastest speeds available for a portable solid state drive. In our testing we saw the X10 Pro compete very well against the other USB 3.2 gen 2×2 drives we’ve tested.

Crucial X10 Pro Portable Solid State Drive

I really like how Crucial has not only made this drive smaller, but it just has a really sleek design overall. It definitely is one of the smaller USB 3.2 gen 2×2 drives that we’ve tested. This makes it easy to just throw in your pocket or a laptop bag. As most of the drives in this category perform about the same, looks and size really do come into play.

Right now the 2TB version of this drive is selling at our favorite online retailer for $129.99, which I think is a solid price. The 1TB version will set you back $91.99, while the 4TB is $260.99. That is another thing that is nice about this drive is that it is available in a 4TB option. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Crucial X10 Pro Portable Solid State Drive a 10 out of 10 score and our Recommended Award!
