While visiting EKWB at their CES 2020 suite in Las Vegas, we encountered a few new products that really caught our eye. They both have to do with PC cases, the first being a custom version of the InWin 909, and the second being multiple versions of distribution plates for certain cases from multiple manufacturers.
InWin 909 EK
Available as a custom-configured case and distribution plate combination, the 909 EK is a modified version of the InWin 909. Aside from a large space in the front of the case for multiple radiators, the 909 features a large distribution plate that sits behind the motherboard and routes fluid to various locations in the system for easier tubing and great aesthetics. Additionally, the distribution plate features multiple cable management pass-throughs, each with their own cable combs to keep things nice and tidy when routing power cables to various system components. The InWin 909 already came with a hefty price tag, and this custom model adds to that price, coming in at around $900.
Case-Specific Distribution Plates
EKWB has also created custom distribution plates for three popular cases from multiple vendors. The Corsair Obsidian 1000D, Fractal Define R6, and Phanteks Evolv X have all been chosen for these distribution plates, and we tend to agree with these case choices. Each plate will be outfitted with a D5 pump to ensure adequate flow and head pressure for multi-component loops, and in the case of the 1000D, it will feature dual D5 pumps for the dual-system nature of that case.
