Final Thoughts on the CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme Gaming PC
CyberPowerPC has been building PCs for a very long time and from what you see online people either hate them or love them. As I mentioned earlier in this review this is the first CyberPowerPC system I’ve taken a look at in a while. My overall experience with the system has been pretty good. The system itself was shipped great and everything inside was protected nicely. The system does come with a keyboard and mouse, so all you really need to get started is a monitor. The build itself is very clean and does look quite good sitting on your desk with all of the RGB lighting.
As far as performance goes for this specific Gamer Supreme system (SLC9000BSTV3) with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, GeForce RTX 5070 12GB, and 32GB of DDR5 you are going to see excellent 1080p performance for high refresh monitors, well over 100 FPS at 1440p, and still over 60 FPS at 4K in most titles. And you’ll see this type of performance without things like DLSS enabled. This is also going to be an excellent system for doing creative work and even streaming.
Temperature levels were definitely in check here with the liquid CPU cooler and the seven included fans in the system. The fans at times did ramp up and were quite loud. This is likely to do with the curve on them, which could be adjusted in either the BIOS or the motherboard companion software. But for the average user who may not know how to change them they could get annoying. Talking about that I really would have liked to have seen CyberPower have their own companion software at least for some basic things. I know this would be a bit difficult since they are using different components from different brands, but for someone who’s never had a PC before it would definitely be helpful.
Since CyberPowerPC makes use of normal PC parts that you can buy this system is fully upgradeable and easy to work in. So you can easily add or remove drives, swap out the memory, and of course just open up the system to clean it.
One of the biggest things we look at when it comes to pre-built systems is how much it would cost to actually build a similarly-spec’d system. I decided to go on PCPartpicker and I was quite surprised that the system that I spec’d out which was almost identical (except for the case) ended up being more expensive. This might have to do with the increase in price of DDR5 currently, but still. You also have to realize that when we take this system home we can plug it in and be gaming right off the bat, we don’t have to build it!
Right now CyberPowerPC is selling this specific system exclusively at Best Buy for $1979.99. This is also great since you can literally go into the store and take the system home that day. No waiting for it to be shipped to you! Overall ThinkComputers gives the CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme (SLC9000BSTV3) Gaming PC a 9 out of 10 score!
