When you hear the name MSI, you probably first think about motherboards and graphics cards, maybe laptops and monitors, but you may not heavily relate the MSI brand to CPU coolers. If that is the case for you, then let’s just get it out of the way – MSI does offer CPU coolers, and in fact, you can build a PC with all MSI products, other than the CPU and RAM. And in this review we are taking a look at one of MSI’s latest coolers, the MPG CORELIQUID P13, a 360mm all-in-one liquid cooler. The P13 is loaded up with ARGB fans, an LCD-equipped pump housing, and more, so let’s jump right into this review!
Special thanks to MSI for providing the MPG CORELIQUID P13 review sample!
Specifications of the MPG CORELIQUID P13
Packaging of the MPG CORELIQUID P13
MSI packs the P13 in to a nice and colorful retail box, with a view of the cooler, white in our instance, front and center.
Out back we find that the LCD-equipped pump housing is shown off with various examples of what can be displayed on the screen, along with a few feature call-outs to let you know a bit more about the cooler inside.
With the box open we find that the MPG CORELIQUID P13 is kept in place via a molded cardboard tray. The entire cooler is also wrapped in a plastic bag to keep the components free from any scuffs or marks during its time in the packaging.
Accessories that come with the MPG CORELIQUID P13
Included with the MPG CORELIQUID P13 is an arrangement of installation components for modern AMD and Intel platforms, as well as a few regulatory and marketing materials. This hard ware bundle includes everything from mounting brackets, fan screws, wiring harness, to a tube of thermal paste. Not found in the box is an installation manual – you will need to scan a QR code on the box to access this material.
