Dark Matter Collider TKL Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Review

Dark Matter Collider TKL Overview

The Collider has the standard profile of a TKL (tenkeyless) keyboard. So, with that said you will have 87 keys, no number pad or media keys. The overall design of the keyboard is very minimalistic with a black frame and black keycaps with little space wasted on the entire deck.

The keyboard also features Cherry MX Speed Siler mechanical key switches. Just like the name says these linear switches are made for speed. They have a 45 cN operating force, have 1.2 mm of pre-travel and 3.4 mm of total travel.

Looking at the Collider from the side you will see there is a nice slight curve of the key profile so that the top three rows are angled down. With the bottom three angled toward the top. The 4th row has the slightest angle where it is almost flat. The pop-out feet add a great angle for typing and gaming.

Now onto the bottom of the keyboard you will see 5 rubber feet. Also under the keyboard is the USB-C connecter slot. While this slot is made for the cable that comes with the keyboard pretty much any standard USB-C cable will kit. The included USB-C cable is braided which is nice to see.
