DeepCool AK620 CPU Cooler Review

DeepCool AK620 Overview

As I mentioned the DeepCool AK620 is a dual-tower, dual-fan CPU cooler. With that it is larger than many other CPU coolers out there, but I wouldn’t call it massive. The official dimensions are 129 mm x 138 mm x 160 mm (LxWxH) and it weighs in at 1456 g.

The cooler features two identical 120 mm cooling fans. These PWM fans feature a fluid dynamic bearing that offers low noise operation with losing cooling output. The PWM range of the fans are 500 – 1850 RPM and the noise level at full load is 28 dBA.

These fans are attached to both heatsink towers using fan clips. You have a fan on the front of the cooler and another in the center. Each of the aluminum heatsink towers has a dense matrix fin array.

Each of the heatsink towers has a cap on it that has a cool design on it and a DeepCool logo. I actually like this compared to something flashy, RGB, and over the top.

Coming up from the base of the cooler are six 6mm thick copper heatpipes. These heatpipes go up into the heatsink towers in a “U” fashion, which is typical for a dual-tower cooler.

We have a large and pretty thick copper base to the cooler. Taking a closer look the finish of the base is pretty clean, but machine marks are definitely visible.
