Deepcool Announces the GAMMAXX 400 EX CPU Cooler

Deepcool has just announced the GAMMAXX 400 EX tower CPU cooler, which is an update to the original GAMMAXX X 400. This new version should see improved thermal performance thanks to the new dual-fan design. Deepcool also addressed DIMM compatibility, so the cooler will not interfere with your DIMM slot installation.

Deepcool has increased the number of fins in the heatsink to 56, which gives it about 20% more heat dissipation and of course you have the dual-fan design, which will help with cooling as well.

At the base of the cooler you have four 6 mm copper heatpipes, which use direct-touch technology for better heat transfer. These heatpipes go up into the tower in a “U” fashion.

The cooler weighs in at 930g with official dimensions of 129 mm x 103 mm x 157.5 mm (LxWxH). The cooler is expected to sell for $39, which put it up against Cooler Master’s Hyper 212 series.
