Dell Preparing 4K 24-inch Monitor

The new more private concept of Dell is still not clear enough. We can’t say anything about whether the “new Dell” will make any efforts to keep the PC monitors under focus or not. But work has been going around consistently for the new range and some sources have revealed that they have caught site of the new product page which gave away information about the 24-inch IPS LED panel with a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels.

This is only the pre launch stage so we can understand why no mention has been made about the price and we also have no clue as to when this is going to be launched. For now, we have only managed to get our hands on some handful of specs which can be spotted below in the list.

• UP2414Q features the 8-bit panel
• Features the Advanced Frame Rate Control (AFRC) which helps with the simulation of the 10 bit color
• Frame rates up to 30Hz
• DisplayPort 1.2 for 60Hz

It must be noticed here that the frame rates of up till only 30 are being supported and that is because there is currently no support for the HDMI 2.0. Some would have favored this more if there were a few more inched added on the diagonal side.
