Overview
The Diablotek UL series of power supplies is Diablotek’s latest product release. The series includes three different size power supplies including the 575W which we received as well as the 675W and 775W. The PSU’s are pretty much the same, except for the wattage difference, connectors and efficiency. In the higher end models the efficiency is 79%, while the 575W sits at 76%.
The Diablotek UL Series 575W Power Supply is a pretty simple power supply. There’s nothing too fancy about it, other than some of the features built into it. One of the main features is its silent design. It’s equipped with a 140mm auto thermal control fan to be used only when necessary.
On the back of the power supply is a honeycomb cutout for airflow as well as the power switch, power connector and 115V/230V switch. The output information for this PSU can be found on the left side, which will most likely be covered up when it’s installed.
The opposing side has a Diablotek logo stamped into the side. The cables are fully sleeved all the way to the base of the PSU, where they are held together by a tie-wrap.
The cables are pretty basic and provide enough connectors for high end graphics cards. The connectors include: 1 x Main connector (20+4Pin), 1 x 4+4-Pin CPU +12V connector, 1 x 4-Pin CPU +12V connector, 6 x 4-Pin Molex Connector , 6 x SATA, 2 x 6+2-Pin PCI-E, and 1 x Floppy.
