Testing
Installing a power supply is pretty simple, so there’s really no need to cover details about it. However, adding the rubber dampener before installation will help keep noise and vibration from the PSU down.
To test the power supply we ran OCCT’s PSU test for a 30 minute interval, running at fullscreen (1920×1200). Here are the results:
3.3V

5V

12V

The 3.3V and 5V rails were fairly stable for the test, having 0.06V ripple (1.94%) and 0.10V ripple (1.87%) respectively. The 12V rail had a much higher ripple at 0.67V (5.22%), which really didn’t surprise me since this isn’t a high quality power supply.
