EA Announces Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

As expected over the weekend at the Star Wars celebration in Chicago EA and Respawn Entertainment announced a new Star Wars game titled Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The game is centered around a Jedi padawamn named Cal Kestis who has survived Order 66 and is hiding out on the planet Braka from the Sith Empire.

Cal will have with him a droid companion named BD-1 as well as a former Jedi Knight as his mentor and friend, who will be played by actress Debra Wilson. The game will introduce many new characters as well as planets to the Star Wars universe. One of which will be the Purge Troopers, which are a melee-focused variant of Storm Troopers that were created to hunt down the Jedi that survived Order 66.

EA and Respawn were very quick to let gamers know that this game will be a single-player only game and will not have microtransactions, which is quite the surprise for an EA game. The game is set to release on PC and consoles November 15, 2019. Expect more details to be revealed at E3 2019.
