EpicGear Morpha X Modular Gaming Mouse Overview
Taking a first look at the mouse it looks much like any ordinary mouse. By default it comes with the gunmetal panels attached. For those wondering its official dimensions are 126.5(L) x 66.5(W) x 40(H) mm.
On the palm rest of the mouse you’ll find an EpicGear logo, this will light with with RGB lighting when you plug the mouse in. Moving up the mouse you’ll come to the DPI level indicator LEDs, then the profile switch button, scroll wheel, and your two main mouse buttons.
On the left side of the mouse you’ll find a large rubber section where you can rest your thumb. There are also two buttons on this side of the mouse, perfect for back and forward, or a quick weapon switch.
Moving to the opposite side there are no buttons, but you do have another rubberized section to give you a better grip.
Flipping the mouse over to the bottom you find three mouse feet, which should allow it to glide pretty well on your gaming surface. You can also see EpicGear’s MSC (Modular-Sensor-Cartridge) system, with the cartridge installed right in the center of the mouse. You can easily slide it out to install another cartridge.
To switch out the panels on the mouse you’ll need to remove the rear panel first. Simply pull up on it from the bottom, where you see the EpicGear logo at the back of the mouse. Once removed you can then remove the front panel as well. With the panels removed you gain access to the weights and the two main switches. These weights are each 5g, giving you a total of 20g of removable weight.
