When launching the EPOS Gaming Suite, you are first presented with a Settings menu that provides general information about the headset and software application. The settings that can be adjusted from this page are more to do with the device itself, as opposed to any audio-related settings. For example, there is the option to change the Smart Button function from selecting presets to turning surround sound off and on, and also an option for turning the auto sleep feature off and on.
The Playback menu presents the option to adjust the audio equalizer of the headset via nine frequency points between 64Hz and 16kHz. This menu also allows for selecting between stereo and virtual 7.1 surround, and you can also adjust the reverberation level when 7.1 is selected.
The Microphone menu offers quite a few customizations, including a voice enhancer that utilizes preset equalizer adjustments, gain levels, and side tone adjustment. You can also create a noise gate in order to filter out unwanted lower level sounds, and noise cancellation options are here as well.
