EVGA GeForce RTX 3060 XC Gaming Overview
The first thing you notice about the EVGA GeForce RTX 3060 XC Gaming when you take it out of the box is just how small it is. It has official dimensions of 110 mm x 201.8 mm, making it one of the smallest RTX 3060 cards out there! That makes it perfect for a small form factor build!
The card has an all-black design with a black shroud, as well as two black cooling fans. These fans have a large EVGA logo in the center as well as EVGA logos scattered on the fins. Overall the card look pretty good.
Looking at the card from the side we can see this is indeed a strict 2-slot card, which is actually nice to see. So many card are 2.5 or 2.7 slot, which makes the incompatible with many small form factor cases. EVGA is making use of a dense heatsink design with multiple heatpipes and a copper baseplate. This along with the two cooling fans should keep the card nice and cool.
Flipping the card over to the other side there is an EVGA logo as well a “GeForce RTX” text and a small “XC” towards the end of the card. None of this will light up as there is no RGB lighting on this card. Towards the end of the card we have an 8-pin PCI-Express power connection.
The back of the card features a full-cover metal backplate that has a sort of honeycomb design on it with a small EVGA logo and larger “GEFORCE RTX” text towards the edge of the card.
Finally we come to our display connections which include three DisplayPort 1.4a and a single HDMI 2.1. EVGA has also made the slot cover black to go with the all-black theme of the card.
