EVGA has finally decided to debut its GeForce RTX 30 graphics card. The company’s Kingpin model is based on the RTX 3090 Ti graphics card which was released a couple of months ago. We had been waiting for quite a long time as EVGA took its fair share of time to finally bring the flagship model to sale. You can now purchase it on the company’s official US website.
The EVGA RTX 3090 Ti KINGPIN is going to cost you $ 2,500 and in this price, it comes along with a ‘free’ SuperNOVA 1600 P2 power supply with an 80+ PLATINUM 1600W rating. It might come as a surprise for a few of you, but this 16-pin compatible power supply is not PCIe Gen5, meaning that the card is going to require adapters. The Kingpin is going to be one of the very few models of the 3090 Ti cards on the market which come with two connectors. This would require six 8-pin cables in total. The good news is that the bundled power supply contains at least 9 PCIe connectors.
Moving on to the specs, the EVGA Kingpin features a sophisticated cooling solution which includes a total of four fans. The card used a hybrid all-in-one solution which attaches itself to an external radiator of 360 mm which comes with three fans. The card hosts itself hosts the fourth fan, making it easier for the airflow to go in all directions towards the VRMs.
EVGA’s Kingpin comes with its own integrated OLED monitoring panel. This panel helps to display real-time important information such as the temperature, the voltage, clocks as well as colorful graphics. This is definitely a premium model and has been equipped with a custom 14-layer PCB, and voltage monitoring headers which allow for extreme overclocking. It also has three BIOS switches, each one for a different setting of normal, LN2, and OC.
