GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Is Now Available For $699 Competing With RX 7900 XT

The RTX 4070 Ti, released at $799 last year, has been swiftly succeeded by a SUPER variant just last month. Despite diminishing stocks of the original SKU, MSI’s Ventus 2X model is still on the market, now offered at a significantly reduced price.

MSI’s budget-friendly Ventus 2X model features dual fans and lacks factory overclocking. Both Newegg and MSI are currently hosting promotions, including a white edition at an additional $30. However, the black/silver SKU is the only one available at $699, inclusive of the $50 promo code.

Recent adjustments in prices on Newegg indicate a likelihood that other retailers will follow suit. It’s no secret that MSI has emerged as the fastest board partner to adapt pricing for both its GeForce and Radeon models.

The price reduction for the RTX 4070 Ti coincides with a new price drop for the Radeon RX 7900 XT. Intriguingly, both the RX 7900 XT and RTX 4070 Ti are currently priced at $699. In terms of performance, the Radeon RX 7900 XT might be a preferable option, boasting significantly more memory (20GB compared to 12GB). Conversely, the RTX 4070 Ti demands less power.
