Gigabyte Announces The GeForce GTX 1080 TT Graphics Card

Gigabyte has just announced a brand new GeForce GTX 1080 model in their GeForce GTX 1080 TT (model: GV-N1080TTOC-8GD). The card features the new WindForce Turbo Fan lateral-blower cooling system, which pushes hot air out of your case, much like NVIDIA’s reference design GTX 1080. The cooler itself features a very attractive shroud that has design elements of Gigabyte’s own Xtreme Gaming cards.

Under the cooler shroud you have a dense aluminum heatsink stack with 6 mm heatpipes that make direct contact with the GPU. There is also an aluminum plate that draws heat away from the memory and VRM. That card does have a factory overclocked speeds of 1657 MHz core, 1797 MHz GPU Boost (OC mode) and 1632 MHz core, 1772 MHz GPU Boost (out of the box), with the memory untouched at 10 GHz (GDDR5X-effective). The card draws power from a single 8-pin PCI-Express power connector. No word yet on pricing, but we expect this to be one of Gigabyte’s cheapest GTX 1080 offerings.
