Gigabyte GeForce GTS 450 1GB Video Card Review

Final Thoughts
Obviously this is not the best graphics card that is out right now, especially with the releases over the past few weeks.  This card however does appeal to a lot of people.  First off if you are trying to get into DirectX 11 this card can do that for you.  Secondly this card comes into the market at a good price, it can be found online for around $100-$120.  This price makes it perfect for someone on a tight budget and does not need a high-end card.

I like what Gigabyte has done with this card.  First they have ripped the stock cooling off and put on their own cooler with a copper core.  Although this card is not known to run hot, the aftermarket heatsink does help.  Also this card is factory overclocked to 810MHz instead of the stock 783MHz.  While this is not that much of an increase it will persuade more people to purchase this card over a stock speed card.

As we said this card sells for right around $100-$120 which makes it a good deal compared to the competition.  Overall ThinkComputers gives the Gigabyte GeForce GTS 450 1GB Video Card a 9 out of 10 score and our Good Value Award.
