Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1660 Gaming OC 6G Overview
Since this card is Gigabyte’s top of the line card it features a full-length design. The shroud on the card is black with silver accents. Gigabyte has kept this design for all of their “Gaming OC” cards and it think it looks great.
This card features Gigabyte’s WindForce 3X cooling solution. This triple-fan cooling solution is very unique in that the fans spin in alternate directions for better heat dissipation. Below the fans is an aluminum heatsink that has three large copper heatpipes that go through it. These heatpipes will actually make direct contact with the GPU.
Flipping the card over to the back we do have a full-cover backplate, which has the Gigabyte logo in the center. Spoiler alert, the full-cover backplate is plastic, not metal.
Like most GTX 1660’s this card is a dual-slot card. On the main side that will show out if you have a side panel window there is a Gigabyte logo, which will light up when you have your system powered on. The card is also powered by a single 8-pin PCI-Express power connector.
When it comes to display output we have three DisplayPort 1.4 and a single HDMI 2.0b. As you might have guessed there is no SLI / NVLink support for these cards.
